What is the best time to visit the Kerala backwaters?

October through March offers the coolest, clearest conditions. The monsoon season (June–September) is dramatically beautiful and carries a quiet romance of its own — though some narrow routes may be restricted. We operate year-round and will advise on routes based on your travel dates.

Where do the cruises depart from?

Our houseboats depart from Panachikkavu, Changanacherry — a quiet embarkation point on the Alleppey–Kumarakom network, away from the crowded tourist jetties. Transfers from Alleppey, Kottayam, or Kochi can be arranged on request.

Is the Luxury Overnight package on open water or moored?

Both. We cruise through the afternoon, anchor for dinner in a secluded lagoon, and resume at first light. The mooring location is chosen for quiet and natural beauty — typically away from other houseboats.

Can we customise meals or accommodate dietary requirements?

Yes. Our kitchen crew prepares traditional Kerala seafood and vegetarian meals by default. Please inform us of any dietary preferences, allergies, or special occasions at booking — we accommodate gladly.

Are canoe explorations included in all packages?

Canoe experiences are available across all packages subject to water conditions and route availability. They are guided and no prior paddling experience is required.
